Lauren's Health Story

A personal journey that changed the direction of my work.

Several years ago, I found myself on the other side of the healthcare system.

Despite a long career helping others navigate complex health challenges, I began experiencing my own collection of symptoms that affected nearly every aspect of daily life.

Over time, these included symptoms associated with conditions such as POTS, MCAS, hypermobility-related symptoms, fatigue, dizziness, cognitive difficulties, sensory symptoms and many others.

Like many people living with chronic illness, I spent years searching for answers, trying treatments and attempting to understand what was happening to my body.

While every person's journey is different, learning about neuroplasticity and the brain's role in symptom generation and recovery became a significant turning point in my own experience.

Today, I have recovered and am passionate about helping others navigate their own path forward with greater understanding, hope and confidence.

This experience has given me a unique perspective as both a clinician and someone who has personally experienced the challenges of living with persistent symptoms.
